Right to Own Everything
Pooka Regent: 03/14/2003

Verse 1

If our profits go down it isn't our fault
It could never be because our content sucks a**
People must be stealing it
And we all know this to be true

'Cause no one would want any content but ours
All the money that we've spent has made that the truth
Don't try to dissuade us of our right to own everything

Verse 2

The original artists' rights mean nothing
If we can buy it, we should get all the profits
Mammon is the one true god
We bow down and supplicate to

The public domain and fair use are excuses
To deprive us of our God-given copyright
Obstacles in the way of our right to own everything

Verse 3

We freed ourselves of the demon of Napster
Then Gnutella came, and Kazaa, and eDonkey
F*** the Information Age
Kill all file-sharing or we'll sue

We have to stop the peer-to-peer terrorists
Crashing hijacked planes into our revenue stream
The pirates who rob us of our right to own everything

Bridge

The consumers we have are just parasites
Licensing our intellectual property
And protesting our right to own everything
Listening to our music with unlicensed ears
Watching our videos with unlicensed eyes
Criminals against our right to own everything

Repeat and Fade Out

Oh, glorious Mammon ...
It's our right to own everything ...
