Video Feedback with a Mixer
The mixer I used was the Videonics MX-1
Digital Video Mixer. My configuration (see the Howto) consisted of two cameras plugged into the A
and B inputs of the mixer (it supports 4 inputs), one large color monitor
for the video out, and a small B/W monitor for the mixer preview (not
necessary but recommended). I also had a video capture board so I could get
the pix into the computer. The two cameras pointed at the large color
monitor, and I used the various features of the mixer (wipe, dissolve,
picture-in-picture, etc.) to make the images.
