[anan] issue #1194 (12/3/99) -- Takuya Takuya is currently filming Wong Kar Wai's movie <2046> and will co-star with Tokiwa Takako in TBS drama. There're reports that Kimura's not happy with Wong's filming technique and wanted to reject it. In the latest issue of , Kimura mentioned having high anticipation for <2046>, therefore, he was very nervous before shooting <2046>; finishing this movie smoothly is his goal of 1999.
At first, he doubted Wong's shooting technique; since a script's not available, he has no idea on what the story's about. He later understands that Wong Kar Wai's style has a normal feel and there'll be no problem if he films about in the mid-mood.
Kimura was angry when he wasn't used to it, but he's different now. He feels that working with Wong Kar Wai is interesting especially when he has to guess what Wong will shoot next. He feels happier as a result. Seems like Kimura has entered Wong's world.

SMAP member's new dramas
For next season, Goro has a new dorama whose theme is mystery. The title is "Kiken na Kankei" [Dangerous Relation] with Toyokawa Etsushi and Fujiwara Norika by Fuji TV. Goro will be a journalist, and norika will be a detective.
Tsuyoshi will be the main cast in his new drama, with nishimura masatoshi ("Koiizumi-kun" from furuhata) he will be some sort of a detective.It will be in TEAM wed 10pm (either NTV or Fuji)and 2 single dramas.
Takuya and Shingo working on their movies. Shingo's one is with some kids. Nakai's one is "tokuni arimasen".

About Rumours
Nakai and takuya were VERY VERY unhappy about the spreading of rumours on the net in fukuoka concerts. I think they were talking about the goro rumour that came from the net and is now said to be untrue. They were very very harsh about it, and I think people should try not to spread any of these rumours you hear from unreliable sources such as the HK gossip newspapers. Even if it's true, remember the guys don't like us to discuss their private lives on the net because with the mailing lists, you dont' know who's reading and who's going to write these stories up as true.
All of SMAP except Nakai have PC at home and check what is going on in our HPs. There are those sick people who try to send totally untrue messages about SMAP. It is very good idea not to trust those unconfirmed rumors. Just ignore them.

Takuya's brokeup with his nine-year girlfriend Kaorin
8/26/99 - Eversince last year, SMAP member, Takuya Kimura has been rumored to be secretly married to his model- girlfriend Kaorin. However, not only is the rumor wrong, the fact is actually the opposite now that Takuya has announced that they have ended their 9-year long relationship.
According to an interview with Takuya in a women's magazine 'Josei Seven', they met 9 years ago when Takuya was still relatively unknown. It was love at first sight. They eventually started a serious relationship 2 year later and moved in together. As Takuya became more famous, both of them started to feel the pressure of the media, as the "paparazzi" started to focus on their daily lives. Kaorin would always be known as "Takuya's girlfriend". Early this year, they discussed the future of their relationship, and in June, they moved out even though they had not formally broken-up.
When Takuya accepted a role in the movie "2046" by Hong Kong director, Wong Kar Wai, he hoped that he would be able to enter the international scene with this movie. Because of this ambition, he needed to concentrate on his work and resolve the problem between himself and Kaori. After a long discussion, they finally came to a conclusion, that in the best interest of their own future, they had to end their 9-year long relationship.
On 8/26, Takuya wrote up a signed memo and faxed it to Japanese media. In the memo, Takuya commented that he has never loved anybody like this before, and that he is really thankful of his girlfriend for her support all this time and wants her to be happy.

Takuya's Drama Special
Takuya played a director tricking guests in drama special this August. He played a TV station director "Muraki" who works with producer "Morita" (played by music program host Tamori) to make a music program. During the production, they will visit guests' rooms without notifying them(similar to hidden cameras); Esumi Makiko and Takenaka Naoto became the guests unfortunately. When the music program finally airs, Takuya and Tamori will play their own guests, pretty tricky and funny. They also played guitar, piano, and other musical instruments. Consisting of cast, J-drama, variety, music, how can this this special not get big ratings?

SMAP's new single and album--"Fly" and "013 Birdman" are released
SMAP's new single and album are released respectively on 23/6 and 14/7. The New Single "Fly" is a funky song, c/w with "End of Time", the CM song of NTT CM. Different from the previous single "Asahi wo mini ikouyo", the style of this new single is going more funky and they also changed their name to "birdman"...Anyway, nice songs indeed!! Takuya will cast in a new movie - <2046>

Great news to Takuya's fans!! Takuya will cast in the new movie of Wong Kar-Wai's. It is temporary named <2046>. Takuya went to Hong Kong secretly for this drama.^^ From the news,Brad Pitt and Faye Wong may cast in this movie too! Can't wait to see it!

Tsuyoshi will cast in a new movie - Messager

Great news to Tsuyopon's fans!! Tsuyoshi will cast in the new movie "Messenger" with Naoko Iijima. Iijima Naoko act as an overconfident working woman whom her company bankrupted  sudddenly . Yabe work as a bicycle postman which transports urgent baggages . Tsuyoshi is a good friend of Yabe in the movie . This is a comedy and love story.  The film start to produce in mid-April and the first showing date is on August 21.Can't wait to see it!

SMAP Spring Dramas

Nakai and Shingo will have new dramas in the coming spring. Nakai will be the main actor of a new drama 'Good News' . The background of the drama is the situation and life of people under Japan economic recession now . Nakai (Kurosawa Takeichi) is a film maker . He meet a divorced editor (act by Tsuruta Mayu) while he is buying the copyright of a novel for his company . They fell in love immediately and decided to get married . Many good news fall on Nakai before the few days of his marriage, but there is something happen on his marriage party , and Bad news come ... The drama will show at 21:00 every Sunday in TBS from 11-Apr .
Shingo will act as the main actor of the new drama ' Yomigaeru Kino ' . He will act with Takako Uehara in SPEED and Takashi Ito . The drama is edited from the past film of the same name of Mr Matsuta Yusaku . Shingo have to keep fit and dye his hair black . He will become a new hero in this drama . Shingo (Asarura Tetsuya) is a salary man (office worker) at daytime . But he train himself to become a strong man at night . He wants to fight with the big evil organization in Japan . The drama will show at 21:00 every Saturday in NTV from 17-Apr .Shingo will look very kakkoi in this drama! Can't wait to see it!!! ^0^

Katsuyuki Mori will back to SMAP ?

The original member of SMAP - Katsuyuki Mori (who is a autoracer now) is unsatisfied with his autorace company . Many people guessed that he may leave the company soon because he doesn't like the company. He may give up his autoracer career after April and consider to come back to his artist career instead of being an autoracer anymore . Will he do so ? Goro's New Film

Goro will play the leading part in the psychidelic horror movie "Saimin" (hypnosis). He hadn't appeared in the movie for three years. Goro, who is a psychological counselor, starts the investigation into the series of unnatural murders with hypnosis, and he gets involved in the case. In the interview, Goro said, " I am cast as a psychological counselor for the first time.I have a fresh feeling." He'll play with Miho Kanno, Ken Utsui etc. The movie has already started shot since 24th January, and finished at the end of March. This film will be released on 5th June.

SMAP 1999 first new single - 'Asahi o Mini Ikouyo' is released on 27 Jan . Asahi o Mini Ikouyo is a romantic slow song , c/w with 'Mienaimono', a jazzy-feel song. It will be the new theme song of 'SMAPXSMAP' .
