Ode to My Love

Have you ever been so tied up in knots
that you could not think clearly
And looked at the reasons why
and it is one you love so dearly

I have been that way before
but still I was not angry
Instead my eyes would tear
because I needed her to be near me

So there came a time when with her
when I should have showed my anger
Instead I decided that it was right
to show how much I love her

What I have done
was show her that I care
and I have do this in many ways
that would make her more aware

I send her many things
from cyberspace and real
all of them meant to show her
that I care for her a great deal

I have written her every day
since she had to go
And I will continue to write every day
because I love her so

There are other things I do for her
that only we will see
I write stories to her
of what life with me would be

She is the love of my life
the woman who is on my mind
and I will do anything
to get her to be mine
