Welcome to the RAC Library

 

RAC - Replacement Audio Cassettes - is the home to orphaned Audio cassettes and CD's.  These cassettes and CD's are collected from sets that have one or more cassette broken or missing.  Rather than throwing away the rest of the working but otherwise useless cassettes, Library's within the Lakeland Library Cooperative may send them to RAC where they are stored in the hopes that others will be able to find what they need to replace their own broken tape.

For Library's within the Lakeland Library Cooperative, cassettes that they request will be sent to them free of charge.

Individuals and other Library's who would like a cassette must pay $2 per cassette plus $4 shipping and handling charges, shipping cost will be combined if more than one cassette is requested at one time.

Please Note that while I have thoroughly checked each cassette and CD in the collection each tape player is different and there is always the chance they will not work properly on another.

Abridged/Unabridged status is listed whenever possible, but often I do not have this information for every tape, as I often do not have the original box which may have listed this information.  If you would like more information to help verify if the tape you are looking for matches the one you are interested in, please contact the email above.
