Wayne is gone this weekend.  His friend Fern asked him pretty please help her and her friend Verde move.  Verde is 4 months pregnant and her husband has been doing drugs behind her back and beating her up.  So this weekend while he is gone, Fern and Verde are moving.  Fern has her nurse's degree with Nevada so they are moving there.  The only thing, they are in Apple Valley.  So they asked him Thursday, he spent Friday waiting for them to call and tell him his bus ticket was at the station.  By the time they got to him they said to take a train instead.  So they wired the ticket, he got there on time, but the train was a half hour late, so he didn't catch it until 3:30pm.

It was a 10 hour trip and they picked him up at the San Bernadino station.  He called last night while he was on the road and he called this afternoon to say they were in the road again on their way to Nevada.  He should be back Monday or so.

We went to Mom's today to swim and barbeque.  It was fun.  I had Mikie this weekend.  He ended up not feeling good while swimming so Debbie took him back today.  I was going to have him all weekend.  The was a death in Nicky's family so we had Wayne's kids.  I said that it would be fine for me to watch them since we agreed.  So I have (had) 5 kids this weekend.  Give me a couple more and I would be in heaven.  I really like having a bunch of kids and no yelling husband.  Well, I miss him, I just don't miss the attitude.
