Reading about a guy who declined an award for his journal, he says that he doesn't have a journal so he can't take an award from it.  Now I don't belong to the journalists group so I didn't get to read the original, but I figure if you are going to join a journalists group and if they ask for the main page to your journal and you give them your URL, then it's a journal.  If you would rather it not be called a journal that's fine, to each his own, but then don't join a journalists group.  Anyway, I really can't say much (though I just did) because like I said I don't belong to the group.  Maybe I should join up.

Not doing much today, just on the computer and enjoying the wide wide world of womanhood: ladies you know what I mean.  Doing as little as I can.

Lorelei stayed at her dad's this weekend, today is his birthday.  I knew it was coming up, but it sure came at a bad time.  We got a Playstation this week and we were looking forward to playing it with the kids.  I could have been mean and told him no, we had something planned.  It is technically my weekend, but what's the use.  Why should I be like them?  I'm nice to them and that gives me leverage so they are nice to me.  Doesn't always work that way but it's a nice thought.

**Useless Bluebird fact**  My mother is the only one (besides myself) who thinks that my jokes are funny.  She is also the only one who will do the orange joke with me.
"Hey mommy, ask me if I'm an orange!"
"Hey bluebird, are you an orange?"
"No."   Hey, we think it's hillarious.  It's all in the delivery.
Another joke I made up: What kind of guns do little blue men carry?
Smurf and Wesson.
At least my mother loves me.  Everyone else thinks I'm nuts.
