Reading: The Temple and the Stone - Katherine Kurtz and
Deborah Turner Harris (still)
Listening: Home improvement shows, yelling kids and Garrison Keillor Thinking: now he lays him down to sleep, if he should die before I wake... Drinking: milk, does a body good Ok-o-meter: 6 1/2, ok Quote for the day: And that's the news from Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average. Weather report: sunny and just the least bit windy 10:01 pm
We had Saint Patrick's dinner last night instead of Friday because Mommy siad we all would have been rushed and stressed from the work week. She stresses way too much as it is. It was nice. The kids all wolfed down their corned beef, though they didn't like the cabbage and were indifferent over the little red potatoes. I don't like cabbage either but I eat it because it is tradition, and you don't fuck with tradition, not around me you don't. My family has very few set traditions, and I will keep what I have. I told Deb I'd take Mikie, since she seemed to be getting stressed with him tonight. She said no, it was ok. I swear that kid gets dumped on bad sometimes. We are taking him next weekend instead, since we don't have Kyle and Tabi. Hope Wayne doesn't end up making a stink about it, though he probably will. Got test score for my test.
Scored a 6 on the list. I was hoping for some where in the first
5, but I guess I didn't get my application in soon enough. When you
take the test, if two people score the same the top score will be the one
who got their application in sooner. Well, good enough. I will
still get job offers.
