HISTORIC LOVELAND CASTLE

CHEERS...to a needed break!!!

After trodding up and down those stoney stairs I figure you could use a chance to sit and have a drink, and mayhaps a smoke...I know I am.

Sire Harry moved into the castle on Memorial Day weekend in 1955, at his retirement age of 65. He built more than 75% of the castle after he retired! Sadly, he passed away in 1981 at the age of 91 years old. Working hard as ever right up to the end.

He left the castle to the knighthood he loved so much. So we, the Knights Of the Golden Ttrail strive to keep Sire Harry's dream alive.

We are a volunteer organization, and we hold several fund raising events throughout the year. For instance our spring Arts Affair featuring works by local artisans. Summer Canoe Float -N- Blues Jam, the one night each year thats just for the "big" kids. We host several weddings and private parties, and many youth groups still "camp-in" for a special Overknight Stay. And of course there's always the big bad...Haunted Castle!!! Guaranteed to be the absolute scariest stone castle in all of greater Cincinnati, weekends in October, that is.

For information on any of these events please call (513)683-4686 between the hours of 11:00am and 5:00pm.
