DAVID F. TREADWAY (of Aaron): Co. C, 64th North Carolina Infantry. Enlisted in the Confederate Army on 7/15/1862 in Madison Co., North Carolina. Prisoner of War in Louisville, Kentucky.

ELISHA BOWMAN TREADWAY (of William Walton): Captain then Major in the 3rd Kentucky Volunteers.

HENRY HARDIN TREADWAY: Civil War, Confederate States Army, Alleghany County, NC, 37th Infantry, Company K. Wounded, captured at Gettysburg, PA, confined at Fort Delaware, Delaware, received Feb. 1865 for exchange.
