This is Calista. She is 34 years old. She is from Illinois, but is currently housed in Los Angeles. As you can tell just from looking at her, Calista is very sick. She suffers from a disease called Anorexia Nervosa

What this means is that Calista, due to reasons beyond comprehension has chosen to stop eating in order to become thin. But like so many who have this disorder, there is no such thing as TOO thin. An anorexic who goes untreated may develop permenant psychological damage. What's more, their physical growth will be stunned and they will face infertility as well as an increased risk of osteoporosis in later life. She may well even develop Anorexia Bulimia and she will begin forcing herself to vomit, in order to meet this impossible image she has set for herself. Eventually, her body will begin eating itself in order to get the nutrients needed to survive.

Sadly, Calista is not alone. She is but one of many women forced to starve themselves in order to meet some idea of "beauty". But there is hope for little Calista and all those like her. You.

Yes, for just a little pit of pocket change you can help. For just about three dollars, we can buy her a McDonald's Value Male. For just an extra dollar, we could buy her a value meal with the extra large fries and drink!

So please, please if you have any sense of decency at all...
...don't ignore her pleading eyes...
...don't ignore her pasty skin...
...don't forget her skeleton-like arms...
And most importantly... don't forget to send NO money to The Ranting Wacko's Backyard
