6 week old Seal Point Bi-Color

Our Ragdoll mommies have their own special place to birth and raise their babies right beside our master bedroom. (what use to be our master bathroom).  It's the warmest, quietest and safest place in our home.  By 5 weeks old babies have started eating wet and dry kitten food.  They are fed top quality foods with the highest protein, vitamins and minerals available on the market.  

Kittens are usually totally litter box trained by the time their 6 weeks old.  Around the same age they start playing on and using their scratching post like their mommy.                                                                                 

Then they all seem to find their way up on our bed with us to sleep at night.  Some prefer our pillow while others want in the covers, curled up between us.  They are just like humans, each one has their own little personality.

  Ragdolls are very intelligent (we are trained very well) gentle and docile.  They make a great family pet or even to have all to yourself.   Their fur is semi-long, low shedding, angora rabbit soft, non matting and dose not require excessive grooming.

Information on our Ragdoll kittens:                                                                                                              

Kittens are available to approved homes only.   It is our policy that all "parents to be" must meet their kittens personally before the kitten leave our care.  It is very important for our peace of mind to get to know the "future parents" to whom we entrust our precious kittens. We have a "NO DECLAW" policy and are “NEVER” to be allowed outdoors by themselves to roam.   They will be trained to a scratching post, litter box and spoiled to being cuddled up in your bed at night to sleep.  Our babies are accustomed to noise, kids, and dogs and will easily adapt to your home.   We reserve the right to refuse sale for any reason and at anytime.  

Depending upon kittens maturity, kittens leave us from 12-16 weeks old

Will have 2 kitten shots - 8 &11 weeks old, given by our Veterinarian

Spayed or neutered

In our kitten care package will be:

No matter where you purchase your new kitten:  I strongly advise visiting the home/cattery if all possible.  As the saying goes, "Talk is cheap," and these days, anyone can dress up their talk in a nice looking website. There’s certainly nothing wrong with breeders using the web to market their cattery, but the real test is whether a breeder actually does what they are saying.  Beware of the breeder who wants to meet you at the corner store/gas station and will make all sorts of excuses why you can't visit their cattery.  Avoid breeders like this. There’s a good reason why they don't want you to see where their cats are kept and raised: they are not proud of their place and their practices.

On those occasions when a breeder does invite you to visit their home/cattery, there are several things you will want to look for, and look out for:

  1. Make certain that the kittens/cats are actually raised/kept in the home in the way you would expect pets to be; not in cages, whether in the house or outdoors, and not in a barn or separate facility.
  2. Look for kittens/cats that are healthy. That means no weepy, crusted or half-closed eyes. No runny or crusty nose. No sores or bare spots on the face, ears or body. Check for fleas, for if a kitten/cat has fleas, it has worms!  Make sure the ears are clean -- dirty ears are usually a sign of ear mites. 
  3. Make sure the parents and your purchasing kitten is registered in at least one cat association such as CFA, TICA or ACFA and your given registered papers on your new kitten before you leave with it.  Some breeders will tell you they forgot to register the parents and/or the kittens.  Could be they were not given breeding rights on these cats, there for can not register kittens.  There is no telling what your purchasing.  Kittens could be bred from litter mates with all sorts of genetic issues or even the outdoor tom cat.  Please go to and read this very important article on: "Bargain Ragdolls" and why you should avoid them.
  4. A kitten should not be leaving the breeder till 12 weeks old.  Breeders that are pushing kittens out the door younger then this are taking "short cuts".  Please go to and read this very important article on "How Young is to Young" .
  5. Before you take a kitten home, be sure it has been examined by a registered vet and the breeder gives you a shot/health record for your vet to read.  By the time a kitten is 12 weeks old, it should have had one, if not two, of its kitten shots.
  6. Most ethical breeders will spay or neuter their kittens early, before they are adopted.  It's a proven fact that kittens bounce back from early spay/neuter procedures a lot faster than older cats do, just as human children recover from surgeries, wounds or illnesses much faster than we adults do. Plus, you won't have the worry/stress of having to take the kitten in yourself to have it done.  Some female kittens start their heat cycles and male kittens can start spraying at 5-6 months old, so early spay/neuter prevents you from having to deal with these issues.
  7. Beyond a healthy pet, you want a well-socialized companion, as well. So look for kittens/cats that are friendly, outgoing and at ease around people. Strongly consider the kitten that comes to you. The adoption process is a two-way street. If you encounter kitties that are spooked by your presence or hissy when you approach them, or if you see/hear cat fights going on in the home/cattery, that kind of behavior should spook you, too . . . right out the front door!
  8. Finally, the home/cattery should be clean smelling as well as clean looking. And for health reasons, the breeder should not allow visitors around kittens before they are eight weeks old. Some don't allow visitors around them at all.  That’s because of how easily germs (virus, ring worm, diseases) can be passed to the kittens on a visitor’s shoes, clothes or hands from an outdoor stray cat or even another cattery.
