Welcome to my Web site. This site is about empowering individuals
through education. Its about helping parents to help educate their children as well as educating educators to educate our
children. It will be critical, satirical, reflective, informative, and scholarly--in order to have
us look at issues that cause school failure as well as those that cause them to succeed. In the end, its about using
technology to help educate children for their future and not our pass.
Its a new era and we cannot expect to educate children who are wired, moving
at the speed of the latest technological innovation, and whose command of technology is frightening to anyone over 10 years
old. The bull horn depicted in the picture can be equated to to teachers in our global community standing in front
of these children and (teaching?), [while the students are texting away--using technology to teach thenselves and to learn
the latest technological innovations, or clothing styles.] Chalk and talk is passe and its continued use can be
likened to the Saber Tooth Curriculum. Notwithstanding, using using new technology the old way is equaly doom to
failure.
