Los Angeles Galaxy

Los Angeles has the best team in MLSM (in my opinion) when the game starts. They have three very strong fowards backed up by three more excellent midfielders. The defense is anchored by another trio of men. The goalie is by far the best goalie in MLSM for about ten years. This is a very strong team and if you work at it, you can win the MLS Cup 4 out of 5 years.

Eduardo Hurtado, Harut Karepetyan, and Ante Razov is the best set of strikers in the game. They score tons of goals and give assists like crazy. 2 or possibly all 3 will stay on the all time scorer's list for 50 years or more. Especially Eduardo Hurtado. He scores an average of about 25 goals a season. Sometimes he has a bad season where he scores 15, but his hot seasons are 30 or 35 goals a year. Karepetyan and Razov are very good strikers also averaging 20 goals each. Welton is one the better backups and Jara is alright. You can live without Jara, but try not to lose Welton. He is a good backup.

These midfielders are also very great. Cobi Jones and Maurcio Cienfuegos are especially good. Martin Machon is good, but not as good as the other two. Jones can score 20 goals and 20 assists in a season and Cienfuegos can do about the same. Machon does about 5 goals and 15 assists. They can tear up the league-Jones has been known to be on the top scorer's list for a season many years in a row, sometimes in the top 5. Cienfuegos not as consecutive, but he's there sometimes. Vanney is the best midfielder backup in the game. When Jones or Cienfuegos is injured, he usually has at least an assit in the game. Armas is alright. Wilson is just one of those guys where you need to cut him. Don't wait for him to get better. He won't.

The Galzaxy defense is very good. Robin Fraser and Dan Calichman are two of the better defenders in the division. They're not the best, but can pull through the first 10 seasons. After that, they suck, and are no help to your team. Caligiuri and Pena are good backups and Semioli is also good. Keep everybody for about 10 years or so. After that, if you still have them, trade them or cut them to free up more cap room.

Jorge Campos. Wow! The name inspires fear into any MLS team. He usually retires under 1.00 GAA can also hold the GAA record for a season for quite a while, until the computer drafts some foreigner out of nowhere who ends the season with like a 0.25 GAA or some crazy number like that. Kramer is a good backup. Don't expect him to win you any MLS Cups but in a normal game he can hold the other team to about 1 goal a game.

There's not much you can do with the Galaxy during the first years. Keep up your defense and try to obtain a better backup over Kramer but that's about it.
