Miracle at Cafee Accoord, Rotterdam

Tuesday November 28th 2000

Well, with my shirt still smelling to the gig, just arrived home after a nightwalk, I realize it is half past twelve and that normal people should be in bed...
Or at least not be typing behind the computer a message...
And sure not writing to a mailing list, like I do now. :)

I realize that the people who entertained us might not be even at home, sure not the Rudi man, that has to travel at least an hour (but sure longer) to that tiny little place, that once was my home.
They should know what a guitar player they have there, be careful with their talents..

Anyway, dear friends, another party is over. I think it is the last Miracle gig of this year...
Jorge, my so to say running mate arrived home too.. and now we are gathering along..
Gee, my web browser even gives the public services with what I went to the Oostzeedijk..

Yeah, and I am left sober..

Is it strange, that I sit here, behind the computer..
What is stranger?
A band playing in a kind of Kitchen, while I am still wondering that Bart didn't get a spoon at his head...

Is it normal that there is a Miracle couple phoning each other to listen to the sound of play the game, while Johnnie sings the stars from heaven?
Is it normal that a band is invited to play, and the technique leaves soo many things unprepared?
At least I am lucky that Jorge just confirmed that it is crazy, that I sit here behind my computer...
Stone cold crazy? Hm, not quite.. Crazy, but with mixed up
feelings...
It is over already.. *sigh*

Well, what can I say..
It was a miracle night this night..
The miracle family is getting such a nice and tiny family.
So many familiar faces.
Some you only have to see and smile at Others you share something more And with all you share the same music, the same memories of the music of its creators..
The spirit of its creators..

It was a miracle tonight, and after a good advice of our dear Ron (hm, not the first time) we walked 2 metro stops back, to the place where I origininally wanted to get out, but where our Mr Krul said that I should better stay a bit longer. :) :)
And there, at the corner, we noticed Mark already (hum, why is he the one that you recognize from thousands??).
So, we walked in the pub, found our beloved Nataly and our ****** (sensored) Ronnie, sooo familiar, and of course the band members, some of their partners and of course the beers. :) Sure should say good company. Later on some other familiar people joined, and yeah, our little group was cozy together, can not say that it can be more Dutch than with this family. :)

I shall not bother you with the technical "storingen", as John described it...
The show started, and it was nice, the songs we know so well, the sound of John, the guitar of Rudi, the drums, the keysound.
We had a nice time, the songs were as always played in the spirit of Miracle. WIth fun, with passion, and with their own unique style.

I don't know if any of you ever saw the pantonyme that was played in a parody of Bohrhap? Well, I think that the musicians almost had more fun in watching the expressions that some of us made than! :) Shivers down my spine, body's aching.....
Play the game.
Ah, yeah, I should phone the hamsterlady herself.. The
miraclecouple listened through the mobile phone to the group that brought them together.. :) Yeah, it's a miracle indeed...
Ahhh... and than there was that song.. Too much love will kill you..
It was remarkable... Can't tell much about Johnnies privates *smile*, but he HAS guts to sing this so difficult song... Freddies' voice was unique, but Johnnie, well, I should say hat off, but that is ridiculous, because I wear no hat. :) Maybe I should, next time (can we get miracle caps, merchandise boys????)

Breakthrough.. The train went outside. Oowoo owwoo, if I could only reach you...
Hope that Rudi survived his shock >:)

After the short break some of the other highlights were coming over us.
Radio Gaga (and WHO was that other person that did clap his
hands huh?!, there behind us, the miracle crowd??)
And those were the days...
Ronald had to take care of Tineke, but it remained with shivers...
And tthe show ended..
with tie your mother down..
It is always amazing me how Johnnie can get his voice in so
different moods, bring the songs so touchy, like Freddie could do (and believe me, I know how Freddie did it on stage.. . oh dear, I realize I saw miracle now as often as Queen. :) :) *uh.. no, not that discussion here *grin*, not now).
And well, I won't say a word about that wonderful talent on guitar, Rudi.. His strings speak for themselves... And mark, the man behind with the voice... Reminds me much to Roger and some of you know what that means as compliment..
Chris..drumming pretty well, and even one moment trying to eat his drum stick.. I wonder if ANYONE but me noticed???

Well, half past 11 Miracle had to end the show. No extra's, no crazy little thing.
But what we got..
A nice evening, for what I will thank them from the bottom of my heart.
thanks Miracle, for making another remarkable evening
Thanks family, for being and sharing with me
And thanks, my special dearest friend...
Life is so much brighter with you..

Good night my dear listeners, thanks for the eye and ear. Hope to see you all soon..
When I look
and I find...

the show will go on

And I shall be there, with you all...

S@turn

Suzanne made it right in time to the gig.

Special effects in this miracle gig..

Car spotlights from stage, a good alternative for firework.

Rudi, ina needs your set list, even now technique changed the songs played

Bart, don't blame it all on technique. :p
