Dear Queen fans

This is a serious request for all of you out there, who love Queen.

We all join Queen gatherings whenever we can, and we think all of you would agree that it is lovely to meet Queen people from all over the world, they are extraordinarily nice!

You might also understand that a lot of those meetings would never have taken place without the help (active or inactive) of Jacky and Val, who have been running the Official International Queen Fan Club for many years already, working hard and never giving up....

We think most of you Queen fans, are quite aware of the fan club and of their doings.

Did you know that the Official International Queen Fan Club is already existing for more than 25 years?

And that they earned an official pronouncement in the Guinness Book of Records, as being the longest running fanclub in the world ever?!

Being Queen lovers we should also be aware of the unique family that we form, gathered around the fan club. Thinking of the magazine, the gatherings (and Conventions!), the web sites, the chats, these things are done to let us cling together and share the music of the band that stole our heart and in many ways changed our lives, Queen.

The fan club cannot do all those things without us!

Years ago, the fan club had around 16000 members..
Today?
Around 7000
Surprised? We are!

Because there are still people discovering the magic of Queen, new fans pop up every day.
The Queen convention in Wales is coming up, there are about 2000 people from all over the world there… And how many are official paying Queen fan club members?
We owe it to Queen, to Jacky and Val, but most of all to our selves to show we care and support the fan club.
That’s why we stand up now and ask for your help and support.

Please, JOIN the fan club, they need us all!

The money cannot be the problem, it is only a few euro’s a few dollars, a bit more than a pound a month and you'll be an official member already.

This plead is a serious one. If the number of members of the fan club is not rising, than we surely have to fear for the future of the fanclub.
