This is where I will tell you about my daughter, Makenzie Deanna Judith.
Makenzie was born at 9:42am on February 23, 2001 after 27 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing and with the use of foreceps. She was 7 lbs., 5.6 oz., 19 3/4 inches long. She had dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. She is our little angel!!!
Makenzie's daddy is Ernie, her mommy is Michelle.
Her godparents are her Uncle Todd, Aunt Tina, and Aunt Kathy.
Her grandparents are Raymond and Gloria ( Nanny Ritchie and Poppy ), Wilma and Clifford ( Nanny and Grampie Clifford ), and Rick and Cris ( Grampie and Nanna ). Her Aunts are: Sherri, Elisabeth, Tina, Audra, Jennifer, Sue, and her late Aunt Deanna who she was named after.
Her Uncles are: Jeffery, John, Ray,Terry, Randy, Rob,Mike,and Todd.
Her cousins are: Krista, Jeff, Stephanie, Makaylah, Grace, Teresa, Lindsay, Victoria, Chris, Dougie, Christopher, Crystal, Sarah, Ryan, Adam, Marc, Nicole, Tyler,and Cameron and Jayden. The doctor's who delivered her were Dr. Corkum, Dr. Oliver (her family doctor) and Sarah.
And we all love her very much !!!

This is where I tell you about my perfect baby boy, Parker Robert James.
He was born on April 5, 2003. He was born via c-section after finding out he was posterior and everytime I pushed, his heart rate was getting worse. He was born at 4:49am, he was 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 1/4" long. He had dark brown hair.....a mohawk, and dark blue eyes.
His family is clearly the same as Makenzie's, but his god parents are Uncle Rob and Aunt Audra. He is perfect and he is the little boy Mommy always wanted!!!

This is where I will give you the lowdown on myself. My name is Michelle Dawn (McGowan) Ritchie, and I am 22 years old. My birthday is August 27, 1981. I am about 5'3" tall and I have light brown hair and blue/grey eyes. I have a daughter, Makenzie, and a son, Parker, I am a very proud, very lucky Mommy!!! I am married ( September 27, 2003 ) to the love of my life, father of my children, Ernie. I have a pretty big family. My parents are divorced, so I will start with my mom, Wilma, who has a boyfriend of 13 years, Clifford. My mom's parents are Ron(ald) and Evelin Melanson. My mom's sisters are Wendy and Kim and her brothers are Wayne, David, Nelson, Ricky, and the late Martin ( RIP ). My dad is Rick ( Richard ). He has 3 other siblings, Karen, Jeff, and Shelly. My Dad's parents are Myrna Rose ( Eisner ) McGowan, and the late ( RIP ) Darrell Augustus McGowan. He was recenty married to his new wife Cris. My dad and Cris have my half brother together, Jeffery, who is 13 years old. Cris Has 2 kids from her previous marriage, John, 19 and Elisabeth, 17. I have an older sister, Sherri, 24 ( September 13, 1979 ), who has 2 kids, Makaylah, 3 years old ( June 9, 2000 ), and Jayden, 1 year old ( September 19, 2002 ). I have many in-laws, my parents-in-law are Raymond and Gloria, my sister-in-laws are Sue, Audra, Susan, Jennifer, Tina and the late Deanna ( RIP ). My brothers-in-law are Ray, Rob, Mike, Todd and Randy. My other nieces and nephews are Chris, Tori, Lindsey, Dougie, Sarah, Crystal, Christopher, Ryan, Addam, Marc, Nicole, Krista, Jeff, Tyler, and Cameron (fewf).
I would also like to mention my Great Grandmother ( aka Grammie G ), Edna Melanson! She is 92 years old and a VERY special person to me!

This is Laredo, he is my pride and joy !!!
He has such a sweet personality. His nickname is Raydo (Ray - Dough).
He has used up just about all of his 9 lives by now I am sure!!
When he was just a kitten, he had to have stomach surgury because his intestines basically krimped. To explain so you can understand, it is like if you take a plastic straw and bend it at the middle, nothing goes in, nothing comes out!!! Well, that is what his intestines did, the worse part is, no one has any idea what caused it. But allow me now to warn you all that it can happen very easily from allowing your cat to play with yarn or string of any type, yeah, I know, sounds weird, the #1 thing most people think of when they hear the words "cat toy". But if they swallow a piece, it can get in a knot around their intestines and cause the same thing to happen that happened to Laredo. So, like you would for your child, keep your pets safe!!!
Well he got through that just fine (since it was either the surgury or put him down, no way, not even an option) and was doing fine. Until just a few months ago when he came inside and was limping. He had stepped on something sharp, a piece of glass or something, and it went through one of his back left paw pads. There goes another vet bill... again, he makes it though just fine.
Then on December 2, 2002, he had to go back to the vet because he had blood tinged urine, ended up being his bladder and so he had to have pills and a strict diet of only soft food for a while, and again, he is doing fine now. He was also fixed the wednesday after he came home from having a bad bladder, poor boy.
So, that is the life so far of my poor little Laredo!!!
But I love him to pieces.
