Tara started out as an anchor on the popular Quiz show "Kab Kyon Kahan" on Zee TV. Then "Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin" happened, the film accentuating her acting skills and establishing her as an actress. With a powerhouse performance in the stage production "Begum Sumroo", she silenced the few critics she had. She portrayed the vulnerable girl with great acumen in "Bada Din" and followed it up with a very popular portrayal of Dolly, the moll in the flick "Bombay Boys", which was a commercial success.
She has two films - Danger & Tapish slated for release later this year; With her talent and loads of attitude, they'll be definitely something to look forward to. And she's already turned author with "50 & Done" , a collection of short stories and poems
An environmentally aware and sensitive person, she prefers carrying a jute bag whilst shopping, minimising her plastic bag usage. So if she, with all those film shoots crammed up into her head can remember to take a bag along, why can't you ??
