KISSES ON THE WIND

You're so far away , but as I think of you today.
all the old sweet memories begin.
I can't be with you there, but love can fly on air,
and I can send you kisses on the wind.

I wonder how you are. I see the evening star,
and make a wish that soon you're here again.
I see your smiling face, that miles cannot erase,
and I touch your lips with kisses on the wind.

Chorus
If in the night when you're alone,
you feel a gentle breeze.
and it touches you so softly flowing in.
If it brings thoughts of home,
and pleasant memories,
You can know I'm sending kisses on the wind.

Days of parting come, sometimes to everyone.
Parting does not cause true love to dim.
In times of reverie, we join in memory,
and send our unseen kisses on the wind.

Somewhere Upstairs, I'm sure, love will still endure,
and there's a place for messages we send.
They are carried on, to the intended one,
and come to them like kisses on the wind.

Chorus
If in the night when you're alone,
you feel a gentle breeze.
and it touches you so softly flowing in.
If it brings thoughts of home,
and pleasant memories,
You can know I'm sending kisses on the wind.
