22 Sep 01 - Day Trek to Pelepah Waterfall

Trek in comfort, get a porter!

Pelepah Waterfall, located near Kota Tinggi Waterfalls, offers a wonderful day trek through forest, streams and, of course, waterholes for a cool dip.

We set off in 3 cars in the morning and arrived at Kota Tinggi resort at about 10am. From there we started our trek in and reached the first fall of Pelepah at about noon. There was a nice waterhole and the kids stayed there for a wondeful afternoon of water play while Daddy, Uncle Wee Yin,Uncle Ee Kit and others went further to explore further falls and the summit.

At about 4pm, we packed up. The trek out of the forest was memorable due to the heavy downpour. Despite being totally drenched and cold, Robyn fell soundly asleep in the child harness at Daddy's back.

After a good dinner at Kota Tinggi town, we headed for the Giant Hypermakt at JB before returning home.
