to the CFC Manitoba Homepage
Couples for Christ (CFC) is a movement created as a new approach in evangelizing
married couples. CFC focuses on the couple, with emphasis on husband and wife growing
together in their Christian lives and on strengthening and renewing the Christian family
as a whole. The method consists of bringing together a small group of couples in a
private home. There they are brought to a living relationship with Jesus Christ, through
informal discussions of the gospel, lively praising and group prayers. Along with that
there are rallys, seminars, and retreats arranged, to further strengthen their
relationship with God and with their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ..
CFC is not just for couples. For the first
12 years of the life of CFC, the single focus was on evangelizing and renewing married
couples. But, many non-couples were asking about how they could also be a part of
the CFC community. So, in June of 1993, on CFC's 12th anniversary, the
CFC Family Ministries were launched. This turned CFC into a "womb to tomb"
ministry. See Ministries below for more details.
Through the years, CFC has blossomed into a worldwide
ministry, becoming a major force for the renewal of Christian family life and also of the
Church.
CFC and it's Family Ministries invites you to become a
member, by registering in one of the Christian Life Program (CLP) listed below. The
only investment you make is your time, and the reward is eternal life in God's kingdom !!!

CFC Manitoba is officially recognized by the Archdiocese of Winnipeg
and appointed Rev. Fr. Vic Tungolh as our Spiritual Director.

Couples for Christ Family Ministries
A CFC child starts life in the womb of godly CFC mother supported
by a godly CFC father, is born into a godly CFC home where he or she is nurtured and
loved, and then starts a lifelong journey of involvement in the larger family of CFC. In
addition to parental formation and support, he or she is supported by a vibrant, loving
community through the years of childhood, adolescence, single life, marriage, and later
the death of one's spouse. In CFC's "womb-to-tomb"
ministry, one can literally invest a whole lifetime.
- CFC Kids for Christ - is a ministry
of Couples for Christ designed to assist members-parents of Couples for Christ in
developing and nurturing Christian values in their children by providing a planned
environment that would embody the Couples for Christ culture. It is open to children of
CFC members aged 4-12.
- CFC Youth for Christ - is a
ministry of Couples for Christ that is called to evangelize the youths of the world - to
make other youths see that knowing the Lord does not happen to older people only, like
their parents. Evangelization happens in the same youth context and environment. CFC-YFC
provides a venue and opportunities which allow its members to be "what they want to
be as long as they are Christians". The fun aspect of being a youth is not taken away
from them by the program, but rather is enhanced because they know that they have the best
friend of all in the person of Jesus Christ.
- CFC Singles for Christ - is a
ministry of Couples for Christ for single people, envisioned to be a support environment
for individuals who are already past school and who are in the process of choosing their
state of life: marriage or remains single for the Lord.
- CFC Handmaids of the Lord - is a
ministry of Couples for Christ for single women (specifically single parents, separated,
or divorced women, unmarried mature singles), for married women (whose husbands are
working abroad, physically incapacitated or not at the moment interested in any religious
affiliation) and finally, for widows.
- CFC Servants of the Lord - is a ministry of Couples
for Christ for single men (specifically single parents, separated, or divorced men,
unmarried mature singles), for married men (whose wives are working abroad, physically
incapacitated or not at the moment interested in any religious affiliation) and finally,
for widowers.
This is God's gift to all of us in the
community that is CFC. It is our assurance of the Lord's blessings from birth to death. It
is God's provision for us to enable us after our earthly sojourn to enter into our eternal
reward in heaven.
