effervescent blue trees with bubbling clouds hanging from extended limbs tickling the magnificent red skyline purple
haze upon the horizon yielding to the beautiful yellow setting sun psychedelic flowers dancing one last time before dusk
overtakes the landscape stars scream awake illuminating the sky with tranquil sparklers waking the night and announcing
the rising moon conceived by thought eluded from sight existing only in mind painted only by words this could
only be
a day so long withdrawn into myself, I go seeking solitude solace there submissive attitude
peaceful memories rampant thoughts wandering, in and out floating to the surface nigh surviving, without
without the words I ponder wondering what to say thoughts of you so pleasant inspiration of my day

it would be nice to reach out and touch another human being without the fear of rejection rebuke
or retalliation to walk past shadows without fear of someone lurking to rob, maim or steal your money or your
life
it would be nice to be able to reach out and offer a hand of friendship helping another
human being physcially or emotionally
it would be nice for everyone to put aside their differences and realize we're "all created
equal" we all bleed red, breathe the same air and share the same resources
it would be nice to see everyone sharing caring and loving each other and doing their
best to promote world peace
Thank you for stopping by! Let me introduce myself, I'm Ron Kinard and this is some of my poetry. Please, pull up a chair
and make yourself at home, I want you to be comfortable. In the pages ahead are some of my poetry, from dark to light and
aspects in between, some humourous, some sad, some for children, some NOT! In my writing it all comes from the heart, what
I was feeling at the moment, so please be prepaired.
I'm trying to keep this site simple with few to no gifs and jpegs so it will load quick, it's easy to print and you
can move around from poem to poem faster. Besides, I'm a simple man, no sense in complicating things, is there?
The pages listed "POETRY FOR CHILDREN" are acceptable for all ages, the rest, parental discretion is advised! There is
NOTHING in this site that would be considered rated "X", but I strongly advice parental consent on some of my pieces! POETRY

A Fingerprint of God
when I leave this world
I would like to be remembered
as
being kind and gentle
being loving and friendly
toward people, animals and nature
giving of myself freely with no strings attached
looking for nothing more than a simple thank you
helping others, especially, those in need
mainly to be remembered
as
being a God-fearing man
I was raised to put God first
others second and
myself last
in this day and time so many are out for number one
the heck with others and leaving God out almost completely
except
with an occasional prayer only when they need help
Im hoping one day my words will be read
and my art seen by all
giving all the glory to God for giving me the ability,
the talent and the time to create
I hope and pray to be remembered in a positive way by
helping others to find Him
by shining in the darkness like a beacon
leaving my mark on this world like

Hello eveyone!
I know, I know... IT HAS BEEN A WHILE! Like two years now and I have to apologize! At least
I'm alive and am painting again and it feels SO GOOD to be doing so again! I'm still not on line, I'm at the library, but
hopefully that will change soon? I'm working on a new site, trying to get some of my art out there. People say it's
a lot better than my prose. I'll let you decide~

Seems like the publisher wanted me to pay them to write my book, I don't think so! Aren't
they suppose to pay me? There are a lot of scams on the internet and it's a good idea to check into anyone wanting to publish
your works and find out if they are ligitimate. NEVER sign anything until you know all the details and what they are about!
I've been lucky, I've had a few close calls, but they were over and done with before I was trapped into something I didn't
want. BE CAREFUL of whom you deal with! ALWAYS research carefully or you WILL REGRET IT!!!

to imagine a green sky withorange clouds tinted with violet rimming
a pink sun
a bluish fog rolls in from a scarlet sea velvet fish flying chasing
each other as turquoise sea gulls swoop down trying to engulf them as they play
to
imagine yourself transformed into a wild beast grizzly and hairy mangled tufts
of fur hanging in your eyes living in a dank cave sleeping during the daylight hours as
the sun sets you begin awaking to the darkness sniffing the air in search of your next
meal on the prowl looking for a mate
surviving the elements needing no one but your
cunning instinct to stay alive
to imagine being the most sought after the
most popular the richest
the best ofwhatever you can imagine by
transforming
imagination into a reality
living through the eyes of your dreams
going places where no one
could ever begin to dream
doing things only the fortunate can only buy
living a happiness
youve just begun to realize
and sharing each moment through the written word making
the most ofevery moment
challenging your mind to excel
putting thoughts and dreams
into mere words
a poet, a writer, an artist sharing their inner most person with the worldthrough their freedom of expression and a
