Someday perhaps the inner light will shine forth from us,
and then we'll need no other light.
- Johann Wolfgang von Goeth
Love is the realization of a beautiful dream.
- Leo Benjamin
I said, 'A line will take us hours maybe;
Yet if it does not seem a moment's thought,
Our stitching and unstitching has been naught.
- William Butler Yeats, Adam's Curse
Beauty is in no quality of things themselves.
It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them.
- David Hume, In the Standard of Taste, 1757, (Of Tragedy)
To see the world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
To hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
- William Blake, Auguries of Innocence
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
- by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, poem XLIII
With hope and comfort
Dear, Forgive
The crime I am content to live
Divided, with but half a heart
Till we shall meet and never part
- Henry King
I lost my mind today… and I know exactly where it went
In places far away from reality… where there was peace of mind
Walking through pastures of green… some may say, God’s country
Where things are simple… and trust was easy
Fear was not needed… and joy was not missed
I lost my mind today… in the neurosis of idealism
And rested my thoughts from the in… sanity of reality
Touching the strength of compassion… gentleness of truth
With the freedom of the heart… which was not shamed to hide
I lost my mind today… thank goodness!

I am the unknown…
Possibilities, actions and thoughts.
I am what could be, but isn’t.
I am what is, yet rather not be.
I bring you to the point of blame,
Or love to hate.
I am the different, the same, the strange,
The misunderstood.
I am what you lost,
What you cannot have,
Or have to lose.
I am your mother, your father,
Your sister, your brother,
The next-door neighbor,
Or the person you’ve never met.
I am when you’re right,
And when you’re wrong.
I am what you believe to be,
Without being.
I am what you cannot understand.
I am the shadows you create,
And the light shown on what you dare not see.
I am the control, you cannot have.
I am the bringer of nightmares and destroyer of dreams,
Come true.
I am reality you cannot bare
And the fantasy you cannot hide.
I am what was and can never be.
I am the driver of your desires,
That keeps you at arms length of arrival.
I’m the hope bringer to all your wishes,
To drain them away.
I am the truth that projects the lies.
I am the friend you hold on to,
And the lover you push away.
I am what you think is,
Yet isn’t.
I am what you make,
That wasn’t.
I am the monster under the bed,
The thunder, the flame.
I am the freedom to do anything,
And the boundaries to do nothing.
I am your own mind, working against you.
I am their mind, working against you.
I am, you, that runs from sanity.
I am the giver whose there to take.
I am what you take,
In fear of being taken.
I am the bargainer, the traitor, the shyster,
The thief, the honest man.
I am the celebration of victory,
The shame of defeat.
I am lust and loneliness.
I am what keeps you alive,
And kills your heart and soul.
I am what lusts for you.
I am for your own damn good.
I am your scapegoat.
I am what you are,
And what you aren’t.
I am what you fear.
I am FEAR!!!
You breed me, you feed me,
And you cast stones at me in fear.

Upon the sweet grass bearing Eternity
I merge with the Mist beyond the Veil
Again to dance with the rhythm of Time
The moment of gracefully flowing sounds heard
Through the ears of the Spirit
The Land of Summer that never ends
That existed before All beginnings
There I am One with my love
Free and boundless
Dancing through the grassy hills and rich forest
Tasting the senses
Flying with the wind
Melding in the fertilities of the soil
In motion within the spring of Antiquity
Glowing by the fires of passion
Emanating the radiance of unsurpassable joy
My smiles beam from my face and twinkles the light in my eyes
The Mist enraptures my essence in a shear white gown
As I dance in steps of Unity
The Mist cascades about my Being and the song birds of wholeness
Charm the melody of music
Every thirst is quenched with the nectar Divine
Being with the Creation of Love
That embellishes me with kisses
That tantalizes and completes Desire
Sweetly floating about, like confetti, are the fragrances
Petals shower and inhaled with my breath
Forever and Always… I am Home… for this is the Land
That sets my Soul free… returning to the Innocence
Released in the Magickal Child within Eternity
Embraced with All that loves
I am Home now
In the Realm of Faerey
