In the darkness of the new moon
The stars shine brighter
And the air seems clearer
But the mind,
The mind drifts into vast new possibilities
Seeing into the void of nothing and everything
Reaching into the possibilities that can be
Here we can call to fate,
There we can beckon destiny
Now, the old may be cast aside to embrace the new
In the darkness of the new moon
The shadows blend & trick
And the graceful flow
With the ebbs,
And the ebbs merge within the tides
Feeling with all the senses anything and something
Shedding with vigor, the skin of what was
There the pioneering can look long forgotten,
Here the mistaken can look familiar
Now, the crossroad challenges us to choose
In the darkness of the new moon
The disorientated must decide
And the divided must designate
With the crescent light,
And with the light shining forward
Sensing the real through vision
Calming the illusion through wisdom
Now, fate brings you only as far as the road signs,
Now, destiny is only as strong as the will
Now, is the direction of your truth
