ROSEDALE BALL PARK

STAY TUNED OUR COMMUNITY IS STARTING TO RESPOND.

The Optimist Club of Rosedale is very sad to announce that for the first time in
45 years we will be closing our T-ball, softball, and baseball program.
Unfortunately the community is not responding to our plea for volunteers to
run the ball program.
Optimist Club of Rosedale is a nonprofit organization.

An Optimist Club is a voluntary organization of civic-minded
men and women banded together for progressive thought and
action in community service. Membership, which is by invitation
only, is composed of citizens drawn from business, industry, agriculture
and the professions. Members are motivated by the desire to contribute
to the community from which they and their families draw daily benefits.
There is no greater opportunity for participation in community affairs and
service than in an Optimist Club.
The purposes of the Optimist club are to develop Optimism as a
philosophy of life; to promote an active interest in good government and
civic affairs; to inspire respect for the law; to promote patriotism and work
for international accord and friendship among all people; to aide and
encourage the development of youth, in the belief that the giving
of one's self in service to others will advance the well-being of
man, his community and world.

If you fit this profile and would like to join our club and run our
ball program please contact us by email:

Our program serves anywhere from 450 to 700 children a year.
Where will the children go? What will they do?
Think about it and be the person who steps up for the children!!!!!!

We knew there were people who still care about the children in our community
and don't want to see Rosedale close. They are starting to respond.
It is looking good for the Children of Rosedale to have a ball program
for the 2004 season.
