The sweetest flower that grows
I give you as we part;
For you it is a rose;
For me it is my heart.
The fragrance it exhales

Which but in undying fails,
It is my love of you.

Or how long we are apart,
I carry within me the sound of your voice
It helps me through a difficult day
until we are together again
When all around me seems dull and gray,
I release the memory of your smile
It brightens my heart and warms my soul
freely filling me with joy
I cherish the times
we can share together,
and I long for you
when we are apart
Your love has captivated me
with feelings that remain
always in my heart
