...A Thousand Words...Poetry "Lovers' Last Night" Look back in time and you shall see The way the universe used to be The Silver Millennium in its prime Cut down at a most unfortunate time The prince & princess were in love It was a blessing sent from above For their love was strong and true If only they had only knew The evil crept in from deep below Seeking to destroy its foes The Earth attacked the Moon with force Destroying everything without remorse The prince swore loyalty to his love Promising to return with the morning sun Her gave to her a single red rose Telling her not to worry as he goes Her star locket she gave to him As the lights around them began to dim The evil ones had appeared And it was what they all had feared The Moon fought with all its might To keep the light shining, burning bright But the darkness was much stronger And it knew the Moon would soon be no longer The lovers held onto each other tight Hoping they would win the fight But their fate was already written in the star They would lose the fight, but win the war The evil unleashed all the energy on the prince it could send And the princess knew it was the end From her prince she could not part And so she guided silver through her broken heart The Queen looked on in shock She knew what she must do Inside her crystal the evil she did lock The Queen took one last look At her beloved daughter and her court And at the way their lives were took She gave them to the future and lives anew Thinking of the good that they would do And so as she laid down to die The Queen sent her love and said a final goodbye --written by Ashley "True Love" Reborn on Earth here from the past Sailor Moon & Tuxedo Mask Their memories buried deep within Must resurface to help them win The evil from the lovers' last night Followed and tried to destroy the light Evils from the future too But they've defeated them all & did what they've had to do They will face challenges great and small With the power of love, they will overcome them all Tsukino Usagi, Chiba Mamoru Together forever, an inseparable two Death, time, space, & evil couldn't keep them apart Each of them has the others heart They love each other very much Their eyes, their hair, their loving touch Reborn on Earth here from the past Sailor Moon & Tuxedo Mask Those memories buried deep within, Have resurfaced and helped them win --also written by Ashley, you can also find more of her poetry here. ...previous...continue ...or back to...poetry...continuum...main
