Dais was on the porch reading a book. The former warlord was enjoying the peach and quiet. Just 3 years after Talpa's destruction. Dais met a woman named Darla. They got married 3 mons after they meet. And 9 months later Darla gave birth to a baby girl. But, soon after their newborn daughter was in this world Darla passed away. Dais took it rather hard. But, as Cale told him he could have lost his daughter too. He was thankful for that.

Dais and Cale share a house together. Dais loves his daughter Destiny very much. Until now the only thing he had to worry about was Destiny swinging to high on the swings or falling off of her bike. But, now she is at that age of dating.

Anubis told him once it was not as scary as it seems. You meet with the boy, smile then when they leave say you hate the kids guts. Dais thought about Anubis he and Mia got married and had a daughter who is now 17 years old

Dais shook his head and went inside. He went into the kitchen there he saw his daughter eating breakfast. " Good morning Destiny" Dais said to his daughter.

"Oh, morning daddy" Destiny said while eating. Dais sat down next to her and ate his own breakfast.

"Daddy don't forget I have a date tonight" Destiny reminded her father.

"Don't worry I did not forget. Remember our deal?" Dais asked his daughter.

"Yes, daddy you have to meet him first" Destiny said.

"Good, now go to school. Or you will be late" Dais said and kissed her forehead.

"Bye dad" Destiny said. And left for school.

Just then Cale came into the room. " Morning Dais" Cale said with a smile.

"Morning Cale. I see your date went well last night" Dais said to his room mate.

"It did we have another date tonight" Cale told him. Soon it was quiet and Dais and Cale ate their breakfast and left for work. [authors note: Cale works in a dojo with Sage. Dais works with Rowen at a college].

At school Destiny was with her 3 best friends in math class. "So, you still going on that date with Brad?" Camela ask Destiny.

"Yeah, I can't believe he wants to take me out" Destiny told her friend.

"I think it's cool" Malfina said.

"Yeah, he has a motorcycle" Canada said.

"Well, I hope my dad will let me ride with him on it" Destiny told her friends. Math class was very boring to them.

Suddenly the bell rang the girls went to lunch. At lunch Brad came up to the table to talk to Destiny.

"Hey Dest" Brad said.

"Oh, hey Brad" Destiny said back. Her 3 friends just giggled.

"Just wanted to tell you I will pick you up around 7 o' clock" Brad told Destiny.

"Fine with me. Don't forget you have to meet my dad" Destiny reminded him. Brad just winced he hated to meet the parents especially the father.

"OK, see you tonight" Brad said then left.

The rest of the day went fine. In the last class which was history Destiny was day dreaming. "Ms. Jirougrou did you hear me?" Mr. Yamada ask her.

"Huh what? Oh, sorry sir" Destiny said apologized to her teacher.

"I said, what did they call the battle between little big horn and general Custar?" Mr Yamada ask again.

"Oh, Custar's last stand" Destiny replied quickly.

"Yes, very good" Mr. Yamada said. Soon the bell rang and everyone went to their buses. Destiny hoped her father would be nice to Brad.

She got home and Cale was already there watching TV. Cale and Dais seemed fascinated by this box with a picture in it.

"Hey, Destiny how was school?" Cale asked the teenage girl.

"Hi, it was good" Destiny told Cale. Destiny walked up to her room.

She looked for something that Brad would like. And her father would approve of. An hour later she found the perfect outfit. A red skirt just a few inches below her thighs. And a white silk blouse. With red 1/2 inch pumps. She went to take a shower.

Dais and Cale were in the living room talking. "I'm not sure if I'm going to like this kid or not" Dais told his best friend.

"Give the kid a chance. Destiny likes him" Cale told his best friend.

"I will try for Destiny" Dais said.

"Good" Cale told him. 15 minutes later she was ready to go.

"But, if that kid does anything other then kiss her cheek or hold her hand. I'm going to kill the kid" Dais told Cale.

"I'm sure you will. Remember Destiny can use her self defensive moves on him" Cale told Dais while laughing a bit. He never thought as Dais being the overly protective father. At last is was 7 sharp. Brad was on time.

There was a knock at the door. Cale got up to answer it. Cale got to the door and opened it.

"Hello is Destiny ready?" Brad ask the man.

"She will be down in a minute. come in" Cale told the kid.

"Thank you. Are you Destiny's father?" Brad asked the blue haired man.

"No, I'm Cale her uncle. This is her father" Cale said pointed to Dais on the couch.

"Nice to meet you Mr Jirougorou. I'm Brad" the teenage boy said holding out his hand.

"Nice to meet you Brad. Just call me Dais" Dais told Brad. He too held out his hand and they shook each others hand.

"Destiny Brad's here" Cale called to her.

"Thanx, uncle Cale" Destiny replied coming down the stairs. When she got to the bottom she had 3 pairs of eyes on her.

"What?" Destiny asked.

"You look beautiful Destiny" Brad said being the first one to speak.

"Thank you" Destiny said.

"Yes, you do look beautiful honey" Dais said to his daughter. Cale just nodded in agreement.

"Destiny go wait in the car. I have to tell Brad something" Dais said.

"OK, bye dad bye uncle Cale" Destiny said and went to wait in the car. This was the part that Brad hated.

"OK. look kid you try and do any harm to my daughter I will make your life HELL. got it?" Dais warned him.

"I understand I would not make her do anything she did not want to do" Brad told Dais.

"Good now have fun" Said said.

After that Brad left the house and got into the car. "Brad are you OK? What did my dad say to you?" Destiny asked him.

"He just said to have a good time" Brad told her. He did not want her to be mad at her father.

They drove in his father's blue Toyota Camery. They got to the movies and Brad paid for 2 tickets to see Scream 3. They went in and took their sets.

Cale and Kyra went to the beach. After the movie Brad thought it would be nice to walk along the beach. So they got into the car and 5 minutes later they were there.

Dais sat at home on impatiently waiting for midnight. He was very worried about his daughter. At the beach Cale and Kyra were having a nice stroll down the beach.

Brad took Destiny under the pier. There they sat down and started to kiss. Cale was a form he recognized. He and Kyra walked over to the pier.

Dais stared to pace back and forth. The phone rang. "Hello" Dais said answering it.

"Hey, Dais how you holding up?" the voice on the other end asked him.

"Not well I just can't wait until she gets home Sage" Dais told the man.

"She will be fine" Sage told Dais.

"I know but, if it was your daughter. how would you feel?" Dais ask.

"Mine is only 5 yrs old. and the same as you" Sage told him.

"Thought so" Dais said with a smirk. Although Sage could not see it.

"Talk to you later bye" Sage said.

"Yeah, bye Sage" Dais said back.

Brad had now placed Destiny on her back and laid down to kiss her again. Cale and Kyra got to the pier "Call Dais fast Cale instructed to Kyra. She nodded and did so.

Soon Dais arrived and was walking over to Cale and Kyra. "What is so important?" Dais asked. Cale just pointed to the couple under the pier. Dais got wide eyed at what he saw.

"Brad get the hell off of me" Destiny said trying to push him off of her.

"Don't tell me you are one of those goodie goodies" Brad ask her.

"What if I am" Destiny said still trying to get him off of her.

"Don't you know that bad girls have more fun?" Brad told her. Dais, Cale, and Kyra listened and watched this. Cale was holding Dais back for he knew Dais would beat the kid senseless

"Yeah. well I am not one of them" Destiny told him.

"You know you like this" Brad said and started to run his hands up her thigh. Destiny relaxed a bit. "Thought you see it my way" Brad said. Destiny grinned and waited for a minute.

Then with her knee kicked Brad where it hurts. Brad fell over holding both hands were he just got kicked. Destiny got up and brushed the sand off of her. "Brad this date is officially over" Destiny shouted to him.

"I'm sorry. Please come back" Brad asked her. But, she kept on walking. She had tears in her eyes. Dais walked over to his daughter. She turned around fast to see who was behind her. It was her father. She leaped at him hugging and crying on his shoulder.

"There, there honey it's all right" Dais said while soothing her.

"Daddy there is something I did not tell you about Brad" Destiny said though sniffles.

"What?" Dais asked with a slight smile.

"I knew about Brad's bad reputation for this" Destiny said. She finally stopped crying.

"Why would you date a boy like that?" Dais asked his daughter.

"He's the most popular boy in school. Captain of the football team. And he is cute" Destiny explained to her father.

"I see. How about you choose your dates better next time" Dais suggested

"I will daddy I promise" Destiny said.

"Good now let's go home princess" Dais said.

"OK daddy" Destiny replied.

Cale was having a nice little talk with Brad with fists. Dais and Destiny got to the car and got in and went home. After about 20 minutes Cale and Kyra went home too. Cale took Kyra home first then went home himself.

Cale walked in and saw Dais on the couch and Destiny laying on his lap sleeping. "What happened?" Cale asked Dais.

"I will tell you in the morning" Dais told him. Dais carried his daughter up to her room and tucked her into bed. He kissed his daughter's forehead then left. He went into his room and fell asleep. Cale went to bed around one in the morning.

As for Brad he thought it would be best for him to change his ways. Before some other girls uncle beat the day lights out of him.
