The Caretaker says, "A fake copy of Sunrise? How flattering... if nobody's told you, Sunrise is another of my creations. It's a copy itself of the original anti-nightmare weapon, the Arch-Dreamer's blade, and quite a decent one, if I may say so. It's made to obliterate nightmares, but a poorly made copy could have some sort of nasty 'recoil,' affecting the user as much, if not more than the target."

Staren nods. "Yeah... It's since worn off. ...I guess I could show you, if you'd be able to reverse the effect."
The Caretaker says, "No need, I can probably guess what caused it. When you say it wore off, was it over time, or due to some sort of stimulus?"
The Caretaker says, "It may be that the only trigger for the effect is the direct one, using the copy, and that it wears off over time. But it may also be that there's a secondary on/off trigger, in which case you should be careful."
Staren says, "Over time, I guess. I didn't notice any stimulus."
