Marg's B'day Thoughts
S4S has many members whom have become such a treasure in my life below some words to them...
Florence was the first i met in the club, we shared many a moment in private chatting, getting to know one another...thus a friendship grew. She is such a special young lady and a gem to the club. Making each person feel special in the club. I have seen her blossom in many areas of her life in the past 10 mths since i been in the club.
After being in the club a little while we had a friend of Elfin's join....oh boy at first i had my thoughts cause he said what he felt lol ... thats our Dane :) he is a special guy and become such a valued member and co-founder of the club, some people get upset with the way he addresses things. But when you get to know Dane on a personal level, you get the privledge to see, feel and hear wisdom that he has..not to mention his great medical knowledge that he helps many of our members with.... Dane Bro... Thank you for being part of our S4S family.
One day we had a couple of ladies join our little family here, asking for support and prayer and thats definately what they got.... Deb & Vera joined us and became something special to all members in our club... teaching many of us patience, wisdom, tolerence and Faith. Vera had been diagnosed with Cancer and Deb her flatmate cared for all her needs. It was with great sorrow that we lost (((Vera))) our gem a few months back, but she lives on in our hearts and in this club She is now our Angel who watches us all above. Deb has became like a Aunt to me and I treasure all that I learn from her.
I had the pleasure of hosting Club chats, which gave me the precious opportunity to get to know some of our members a little better.... from there a trust was formed and at times personal issues were shared and confidentiality kept (this has been so important). Those who have participated in chats Audrey, Natascha, Chrissy, Mark... just to name a few are all special in their own way to our club. Many have come with problems and now have grown to help others with the same problems this is what it is all about Sharing and Caring , Giving and Recieving.
A note to some others, Helena you always have a kind word to say and brighten up my day some way. Jupiter your constant friendship and support to the club never ceases to amaze me your a gem. Lizze, dear girl your faith in God has taught me much and the way you keep such a positive attitude...not wanting much (hugs to you) . Rach what can i say dear girl, you are a sweet young lady who has much to give and so special to our club. Last but not least while i can think of names is a Young lady who flew into the club.. at first we didnt think she would stick around.... but our Precious Zigi who gives us all smiles and Inspiration continually Always giving us a Good morning msg, a young woman who contributes so much but yet at such a young tender age still..... She is our breath of fresh air and wisdom......
Last but not least, to the special lady whom 12 months ago had a thought and put it into action..... MomElfin .... WELLL Elfin to u lol. She is MOM to me. Elfin spent many a time chatting to me when i was in tears and sharing her heart and soul with me, as I have walked thru trials with empty nest syndrome. No one could ask for a better Mom than this lady who has listened with her heart and not her head, given me words of wisdom and courage to press on to another day. Only a True MOM can do these things .... so a tribute to you MomElfin is this website.... may the members of this club send in their poems, pics and thoughts.
