You are my son,
a part of me, and that will never change, No matter what you do in life my love will still remain. I held you as a baby
and I looked into your face, And I knew then, no other one could ever take your place.
I knew then as I held you, you would grow to be a man, and
anything you did in life I'd try to understand. I knew you would make choices and would follow your own heart, I only
prayed that in your life I'd always have a part.

I knew some things you did in life would give me so much pride, But also realized some
things would tear me up inside. I only want the best for you and want you to succeed, And want you to find happiness
with everything you need.
Kirk had "NO FEAR" what so ever, he would try anything once..
I will not try to push you to live life in my own stride, I only promise I will love you and
stand by your side. I know that you will make mistakes and life is full of them, but realize my love for you will not
let me condemn.
"Forever 18"
To understand such a loss will take a lifetime or more Left
feeling empty and hollow to the depths of your core. Not a day will pass when he's not on your mind, Missing his smile,
his laugh and his heart - so kind.
Only family and close friends can truly understand The void
created by losing this young man. Such a joy to your life, such a treasure to hold A lifetime of love, wrapped in a
18 year old.
God's word promises that again you'll embrace And all sorrow
and pain will be quickly erased. In His word you'll find comfort when you're losing control
Lean on Him always, let him into your soul.
And as we pass from this life on to heaven to reside All our
prayers being answered, grieving tears have been dried. As the gates slowly open, the truth shall be seen - Our Beloved
Kirk - "Forever 18"
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise
and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, while
thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each
time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that
an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready, in Heaven far above, and that
I'd have to leave behind, all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all
my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we
shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and
maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the
place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is Eternity, all I've promised you".
Today your life on Earth is past, but here it starts a new. I
promise no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true. Though
there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven and now at last you're free. So
won't you take my hand and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,don't think we're far apart, for
every time you think of me,I'm right here,in your heart.

Kirk William Veach was born May 6, 1985 to Darin and Stacy Veach
and big brother Kevin Michael Veach.
Kirk passed away on October 19, 2003. From a 4 wheeler
accident. Kirk was 18 years old
I can only guide you and give you a helping hand, You will choose the path to take now that
you are a man. Along the road that you will choose, whatever that may be, Just remember this son that you can count
on me.
I know this life's not perfect and we do the best we can, just realize I love you and I'll
always understand. I knew one day you would grow up and you would leave my nest, I will do what I can for you and let
God do the rest.
"Homerun Park"is definitely a very simplistic description of what
must be the most glorious place imaginable, but sometimes I think "simple"is easier to embrace- easpecially when there is
a really no way to understand Heaven while we are on earth. Written By:Kim Simmons
He was involved in all kinds of activities in school he played Basketball, he played Baseball,
he ran Track and he did Cross Country Running also. Everything Kirk did he gave 100% as long as he liked what he was doing.
When it came to school work, that was a different story.
He just got by, but he did graduate from Lawson High School in May of 2003
I have held you in my arms and done the best I can; now I pray that God will
hold you now that you're a man. Just remember in my heart you are a special one, and I will always proudly tell the
world, "THIS IS MY SON!"
We’ll Miss You, Kirk!
God must
have needed some excitement in Heaven when He called you home that day. We were left broken-hearted with so much
we didn’t get to say.
We’ll miss... the way you drove your mom crazy trying to get you through school testing
all the limits and challenging every rule.
We’ll miss... the way you were always ready for a dare never
thinking about not growing old, living life to the fullest, yet, still you had a heart of gold.
We’ll miss... your
daredevil ways and your mischievous smile, and we feel so lucky to have known you even for a little while.
The
gifts you’ve given us can never be taken away. You’ve touched all of our lives and we’ll miss you
forever and a day.
