Many reasons constitute
women’s oppressed condition. I would venture to present some!!!!
Religions discouraged women status:
Status
of women in the religion depends on regional factors; a region that has better economy and better education, status of women
are improved. Religions are needed to outline the code of conducts according to present and future needs. It is evident in
the present western society and the developed countries, freedom of women, irrespective of any religion, is better than that
of undeveloped and developing countries, indication is that reformation in religion is helping hand to growth of the country. Old age religions mostly considered women as subordinates, gave lower status and role
was behind the curtain place was home and its maintenance.

2:7) God formed only a man. Realizing that he needed a helper (Genesis 2:18), God marched all of the animals past Adam (Genesis 2:19-20) looking for a suitable animal. Finding none suitable, God created Eve out of one of Adam's ribs

Over 110 million of the world’s children,
two thirds of them girls, are not in school.. Of the world’s 875 million illiterate adults, two thirds are women. (UNICEF)---Two-thirds of the world's children who receive less
than four years of education are girls---Worldwide, more than half the population of women over age 15 cannot read or write---Girls

labor force are called "housewives" and excluded from the formal definition of economic activity---Women work-- on average
and across the world-- more hours than men each week, sometimes as much as 35 hours more, but their work is often unpaid and
unaccounted for---Where women do the same work as men, they are paid 30 to 40 percent less than men---There is no country
in the world where women's wages are equal to those of men---In the U.K., Italy, Germany, and France women are paid 75% of
men's wages, whereas in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Australia women earn 90% of men's wages---Women produce nearly 80%
of the food on the planet, but receive less than 10% of agricultural assistance---In most places in the world, work is segregated
by sex. Women tend to be in clerical, sales and domestic services, and men in manufacturing and transport---Women occupy only
2% of senior management positions in business---Women's participation in managerial and administrative posts is around 33%
in the developed world, l5% in Africa, and 13% in Asia and the Pacific. In

with women, is when parents abort their unborn daughter, as they prefer son---First education she receives from parent is to
live as subordinate and perfection in maintenance of house. Training she receives when discriminatory attitudes by parents
between she and her brother---When borne she being dependent of parents, parents considers daughter as guest for them belongs
to unknown man by way of marriage there she has to adjust according to rules and regulations framed by new house---Higher
education to a girl child is disadvantageous in marriage proposals as in comparison with groom if girl is better educated
she has failed her exam and disqualified---Do women really need marriage? Marriage is social contract that legalizes husband
and family to keep woman slave. For most present generation women married life means depression, mental torture, self immolation,
bride burning for want of more dowry---Women with independent feelings is disqualification for her marriage as saying she
is indecent and corrupt.
