O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, God is a better protector to both. So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, or if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, God is well acquainted with what you do. [Holy Qurán 4:135] |
| The verse above from the Holy Qurán shows that God has commanded the
believers to stand firmly for "justice" and it would not be out of
place to mention that "Justice" forms the cornerstone of the Islamic
society and civilisation.
Injustice is hated by God and so is also abhorred by Muslims. Standing out firmly for justice is the call of Islam to all mankind and this is the only way for establishing and maintaining Peace for everyone. |
