Alrighty, I know what your thinking. Why am I writing this if I like Sailor Moon so much. Well, I think some things aren't right. It isn't the perfect Anime in the world, and nothing is. Also, this section has things I can't stand about PEOPLE who don't like the show. No, I'm not being a hypocrate, I just don't like people taking certain things to the extreme about a fictional show. Ok? Now don't say I didn't warn you.


Gripe #1: Monster of the Day format:

Ok, this right here is my major beef with the show. I don't like that format. It turns alot of people off to the show. Yes, it gets dull. I understand that they would run out of episodes very quickly, and then I could like it. But the thing that ruins it for me is just this: lack of difference and effort in the design of the MoTD. Don't get me wrong, they come up with some pretty darn cool ones. I personally don't knpow their names, but I do like the one that turns Sailor Moon into a tenis ball ^.^;;.

Gripe #2: It's working! Let's do something else!!!

Ever noticed that if something seems to be working, instead of repeating it, they do something else? Yes, I understand that they can't use excessive force because most of these monsters *were* people at one point. But that's what Sailor Moon is there for! To help them if they aren't completely evil! Let the princess do her job after throughly disabling the monster!

Gripe #3: Cape boy

Ok now, c'mon, cape boy gets to throw a rose in the anime? That's it? I think he was much cooler in the manga. At least he got actual attacks and didn't talk as much X.x. Also, he was a lot sweeter in the manga, I thought. He actually says "I love you" to usagi much more, rather than, oh say, ONCE in the anime??? This is the 3rd worst killed character in the transformation from maga to anime, rivaled by....

Gripe #4: Casablancas no more

REI!!! What did they do to her? Changing her from a slightly shy, religdous girl to a screaming teenager that chased boys and acted like a 3 year old? The manga Rei would *never* chase boys. They chase her, actually, but she ignored them. No, she's not like Haruka in *that* way (ahem), she just got her heart broken by the man she deeply loved and wanted to marry. He father hardly ever payed attention to her as well. So she's not much of a guy fan. I really feel for Rei-chan. But, still, there is one character even less developed in the anime than rei, who is none other than....

Gripe #5: "Why am I wearing this?"

Setsuna, the most butchered character in the anime. She was SO cool in the manga, and had dreams, a life, feelings, and other *real* people stuff. Now we turn to the anime. EEP! What have they done to her? They took her fashion-designing dream away and gave her WHAT? That one god-awful outfit. Ick... need I say more? Also, her sense of duty seemed to be lessened in the anime, which made her look like she always had something she was mad about. *hugs a Pluto plushie*

Gripe #6:" I love you, but only in a cousinly, non-sexual way"

Allright, this was my reaction after seeing the jap version of S and SuperS and watching the first NA dub of Haruka and Michiru. The typical opening played, you know, "Fighting evil by moonlight..." Bleh.

"Hmm.. seems fine enough... Why is rei calling her meatball head? OMG! Haruka and Michiru! Amara??? Ick... seems fair enough.... What? COUSINS??? WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY BEAUTIFUL HARUKA AND MICHIRU???"

That's right folks. Cousins. No, not lovers, or even friends... cousins.... Now that's just sad. I understand about the angry phone calls.... but my understanding can only go so far! H&M have one of the most beautiful relationships, no matter if they are both female. Personally, I like it much better than the usagi and mamoru relationship. But, hey, that's just me. And, no, I'm not a perverted fanboy. I'm not even a boy, so don't flame me like that, ok?


Here is the section of gripes having to do with moonies. Yes, I love sailor moon, but some people just don't get things.


People Gripe #1: HentaiFREE

Now, what, may you ask, do I have against the "fighters" for no hentai??? Well it's the fact that the innocent, wide eyed, bible quoting people of hentaiFREE think their so much above us "pervys" for the simple fact that we aren't loading up our websites with usless banners that take too long to load. They belive that somehow, having banners all over the internet is actually going to make people stop making/looking at/drawing hentai. Also, they are *extremly* naieve. They are trying to stop "innocent little kids" from "stumbling" across hentai. Allright, so basically "stumbling" means typing "hentai" into a search engine, not bothering to read ALL the disclaimers that "pervys" put up to STOP little kids from entering because they don't want to get sued, and then getting an AdultCheck I.D. #. It's really hard to belive, don't cha think? And it gets better. They have banners for HentaiFREE for DBZ, and Fushigi Yuugi. K, for DBZ, I guess that means that Violence is ok, but not "pervyness". And for FY, as if that serious didn't have multiple people getting raped, or a certain tent scene that involed a certain man *cough cough NAGAKO cough cough* and a certain woman *cough cough SOI cough cough* doing a certain act *cough BOINKING cough*. Sorry, did any of my sarcasm drip on you?

People Gripe #2: People against people having their own opinons

I know, we all feel kinda mad when we see an Anti-SM page, but the Anti-Anti-SM people are just ridiculous. I purposly go to Anti-SM pages, cause their funny, in my own mind. But the anti-anti's hate people for having an opinion different from their's. Sound familiar *cough Hitler cough*? They need to kick back and pull those giant sticks out of their butts and start to accept that not everyone is a sailor moon fan.

People Gripe #3: Uneducated Flamers.

You know the type. The kind that send you hate mail, and fill it up with stuff that isn't spelled right, or doesn't make sense. Like this:

"hi i think that u a faggit and need to learn that sailor neptuune and sailor uranus are just cousings turning them into lesbos are really sick and u ned a life.

p.s: you sux"

First, if you're gonna flame, learn how to spell. Also, use punctuation. And learn about the show before you start annoying people.
