Soldiers of the American Revolution from Stark County

American Revolutionary War Soldiers buried in Stark County, Ohio

The following is a list of all the Soldiers of the American Revolution that are buried in Stark County, Ohio.  This list  was researched and compiled by Eileen M. Knipfer in 1982.  In celebration of the Ohio Bicentennial in 2003, the Canton Chapter determined to find as many graves of these soldiers as possible. Once the graves were located, members participated in a series of field trips to the area cemeteries in Stark County and marked each grave with a special Bicentennial marker designed by one of our chapter members and her husband, Joyce and Ernst Kaboth. It is the desire of the Chapter to mark all of these graves with a permanent bronze marker in remembrance of these soldiers.

Not all of the soldiers graves could be found. Those that were located are

marked with an *.
