in possibly the worst marketing gimmick of all time, the producers of the show decided it might be a good idea to have one of the viewers of the show win a date with a cast member. what made it the worst gimmick ever was their selection of jessup algonquin steed. who wouldn't want to go out with a guy as suave as Jessup? he's got the moves that really moves the girls. he loves to eat (out of a dumpster) and talk (about nothing) and drink (cheap, sometimes recycled) beer. and you can cruise around in style in his '72 pickup with the three wheels and the primer-on-primer paint job.
