Together with its U.S. partners, the Cultural Service promotes French-American exchanges in the arts, film, education. It supports and advises individuals—artists, authors, teachers, researchers and other professionals—as well as such institutions as art centers, film institutes, professional networks, schools and universities, and NGOs, serving as a partner on many projects and programs.
It works notably with the French-American Cultural Exchange foundation (FACE:
www.facecouncil.org) on six French-American programs focused on contemporary art, contemporary music, theater, university film screenings, cinema professionals, and university partnerships at the Master’s level. The Cultural Service also oversees the network of French educational programs. The site www.frenchculture.org offers a complete presentation of the Cultural Service’s programs and an overview of French-themed cultural and educational programs throughout the United States.
