Join or Renew Your Membership
The Seattle Writers Association offers membership to any person interested in writing as a hobby or vocation. Novices as well as published authors belong to the club. Cook books, literature, history, comics, romance, mystery, erotica, science fiction, fantasy, poetry, and more are among the types of writing our members do. Come tell us what you write.Even if you don't know the difference between a paragraph and a participle, join us at our friendly meetings, have some coffee and conversation, participate in the evening's program, and reflect upon the experience. You may decide to join us, or just show up now and again. We welcome you in either case.
We highly encourage established writers to come back to their roots and share their insights with new writers. Become a speaker in the program, bring your published works, tell us how you did it.
So, whether you are a beginner and are looking for a way to get started, or an accomplished pro thinking about that next novel, SWA is a great place to meet, get in touch, and feel at home with other writers. Drop-ins are $4 per meeting, and a yearly membership is only $30.
