As part of a hectic and exciting schedule in India, OMEGA brand ambassador and last man on the moon Capt. Eugene Cernan shared his experiences in space with enthusiasts in New Delhi and Mumbai. In New Delhi, he shared the spotlight with Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma (the first Indian in space), the evening before a high profile one-to-one meeting with the President of India. He presented the President with a signed picture of himself on the moon, as well as his book, and a mounted frame of the Speedmasters missions in space.

This was followed by his trip to Mumbai, where he visited OMEGA retailers, signed autographs, pictures and books, enthralled the Indian press at a conference, and inaugurated the OMEGA 'Speedmaster Missions: Moon to Mars" exhibition at the most exclusive hotel in the country.

Captain Eugene Cernan invited Indian brand ambassador for OMEGA, Shahrukh Khan, to The Oberoi, where he presented him with a signed copy of his book. After which he showed him around the exhibition amidst press photographers, correspondents and television crews. On behalf of OMEGA, Capt. Cernan has invited the Indian filmstar to visit NASA in Houston, and to be a part of the OMEGA space experience.

Capt. Cernan's talk in the evening was directed at the intelligentsia and top society in the city. The OMEGA ambassador captivated the audience and received a thunderous, unprecedented response. A darling of the crowds and the Indian press, he is still receiving questionnaires, requests, and demands for signed pictures.
