Audio CD/Cassettes: Great Authors of the Western Literary Tradition

Sr. High School-College level.  A series of lectures with study guides.  Presents the major writings of western literature, including a discussion of literary elements such as plot, setting, character and theme.  Also describes life, society and world view of the period studied.

VHS: World History-The Fertile Crescent to the American Revolution

Linwood Thompson.  High School level.  The lectures are sort of silly but a good alternative for students who struggle with reading expository text.  Thompson uses props, costumes and characterizations to help students experience history rather than just listen to it.  Accompanied by extensive study guides with answer keys.
