SPRING, 2008!!!  

YES, TAMPA CHAVEROT CELEBRATES ITS FIFTH YEAR!!!!

We may not meet on a regular basis, but we are still a group of over 50 women getting together amongst ourselves, monitoring LGBT and Jewish political issues here and in other places, sending out email notices of any events that may interest us, and serving as a resource to the dozens of email inquiries we get every year about us, and life in Tampa Bay.   

TWO IMPORTANT NEWS FLASHES!!!!  First, after a one year application and waiting period, Tampa Chaverot has been accepted into the Maven search database!!!  Maven is the Jewish world's equivalent to Google.  We are thrilled that Maven agreed to list us, and we know this will increase our visibility worldwide!!  Second, Tampa Chaverot just received notice that it will be listed in the Sarasota Jewish Federation's Honor Roll for our donation made last year for hurricane relief.  We will be listed specifically as Tampa Chaverot--Jewish Lesbians of Tampa Bay, and we are very proud to be honored and recognized in this way!!!
