Our President's Letter

SHHH-NH Members,

HI!

This is the time of season for wonderful holidays! Hope you all will enjoy upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas.

As Case Manager/Health Advocate for Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Inc. (NDHHS) want to inform you that I will now be providing services at two other sites across the state.

I will be providing services for Portsmouth and Manchester areas.  If you are in need of services, such as: advocacy, information or assistance, I can be available. For example, if you need interpreter or CART for your personal appointments, I can provide advocacy for you to receive communication access that you need, or if you have some difficulty in understanding a letter from court or social security, I can provide assistance in clearing it up. Now you can come to those sites for our services as well.

I will start to go Manchester Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) office on 361 Lincoln Street on Mondays, December 2, 2002 and on December 16th 2002. The hours will be from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  I will continue to go Manchester on First and Third Monday of each month.

For Portsmouth at Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) on 30 Maplewood Avenue, I will be there on Fridays, December 6th 2002 and December 20th 2002 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  This will continue on First and Third Fridays of each month.

You need to contact me when I am at these offices; the telephone number for Manchester VR office is 669-8733 (V or TTY) and for Portsmouth DHHS is 800-735-2964 TTY.

On behalf of NDHHS, I want to thank the Portsmouth Department of Health and Human Services and Manchester Vocational Rehabilitation for providing us the office space. We greatly appreciate that very much.

I look forward to meet and see you when you are in these offices.  Please share this information with other Deaf and Hard of Hearing members in the community. Thank you.

Have a safe holiday!
