1. Presidential Treason 104: By Gretchen Glass. Part 2 of the Clinton/China Connection - The Export-Import Bank of the United States. Taxpayer subsidized corruption.

2. People at Bars Like to Smoke: washingtonpost.com. Ms. Kelley claimed the program is "very popular." Wrong again. A recent poll conducted on the Digital City-San Diego Web site showed an overwhelming number of respondents (nearly 3 to 1) were against the ban.

3. Lifestyle Discrimination in the Workplace:Your Right to Privacy Under Attack: Legislative Briefing Kit on Lifestyle Discrimination. The American Civil Liberties Union. Q: What causes employers to engage in lifestyle discrimination?

4. Speak Out: Your Phone Records for Sale? Thirdage. If a federal court's ruling is upheld, your personal phone records may be for sale to marketers -- without your permission. Where do you stand?

5. PCP, Cocaine Vaccination Eyed: Associated Press. Already, one cocaine vaccine, developed by a biomedical company in Massachusetts, is being tried on people at a Connecticut clinic.[Remember the nicotine vaccination we warned you about in issues #12 and 13? Will we be forced to give vaccinations to our children, by law, with no knowledge of long term side effects?! ...Editor.]

6. Va. Road Plan Would Rely on Tobacco: washingtonpost.com. "We haven't gotten this money," said Del. Vincent F. Callahan Jr. (R-Fairfax), co-chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. "It's some sort of mirage on the horizon."

7. Clean-Lunged Crusaders: By J.D. Tuccille. Y’see, crusaders are on a mission — a mission from God, more often than not, since the anti-alcohol and anti-tobacco movements of the 19th and early 20th centuries had their roots in the evangelical movements.

8. We Are Everyday People:
*** What the Hell Am I Doing? Full Automatic. We have the right to demand that attitude of everybody: disagree with us, call us fools, live your own lives differently, but don't try to tell us what decisions we may make in the conduct of our lives. Because the value of life is determined not by the mere drawing of one breath after another, but by the freedom to make our own decisions; to mold our lives as best we can into a shape that pleases us, and to enjoy the benefits or suffer the consequences.
*** U.S. Court of Appeals Says Veterans Not Guaranteed Health Care: HealthCentral. A federal appeals court has dismissed a lawsuit by a veterans group that said the government broke its promise of lifetime health care benefits for those with 20 years of military service.
*** Cigar Reviews: By the staff of Top25cigar. Each cigar is blind reviewed by between 3 and 5 members of the T25C Advisory Staff. The results are summarized in a single review.
*** Links to US State Health Agencies: Vitalnet Data Warehouse Software.
*** Britain: Don't Drink and Fry: London (AP). The government plans to spend the equivalent of $2.4 million on the drive. Tests in Kent County in southern England last year showed that half of all the people who died in house fires were twice over the legal drink-drive limit. The government's campaign includes TV ads, posters and leaflets advising people to use less oil, not to leave pans unattended, not to put food in a pan that is smoking or, simply, to ``have a sandwich instead.''
*** Fox's Cigar & Smoking Related Links on the Internet: James J. Fox. Great smoking links and magazines.
