With flowers blooming all around
And springtime in the air
With little chicks and bunnies
Appearing everywhere

Young boys and little ladies
In bonnets, bows and ties
With well-combed hair and proper air
With shining shoes and eyes

With chocolate and with jelly beans
And with marshmallow peeps
With baskets and with colored eggs
Whoever finds them keeps

With all this fun we can't forget
The best gift He did give
He went away in pain but then
Came back so we could live
