Little Mother


The little girl with hair of brown
Still holding her doll tight
Checked the dolly's diaper to
Be sure she did it right

After needed changing
Or she said it was so
She put the dolly's jammies on
And tied its little bow

It's dinner time now Baby Doll
Some milk will go down well
After feeding burping done
A story then to tell

The little girl then rocked the doll
And sang a lullaby
Her parents watching all of this
Then smile with a sigh

The little girl is practicing
To be a little mother
To be a help when soon arrives
Her little baby brother
