Rain
Some people moan and
then they say
While holding to a frown
Oh drat! It's going
to rain today
I hate when rain comes
down
Well, I for one don't
feel that way
When raindrops fill
the air
I don't feel sad when
skies are gray
And rain seems everywhere
The rain that comes
from up above
Will cause the grass
to grow
Will help the trees
to bear their leaves
And let the flowers
show
The rain fills rivers,
streams and lakes
For creatures large
and small
To drink and bathe and
swim and play
It takes care of them
all
So I like rain but there
is yet
Another reason why
When it is done you
just might see
A rainbow fill the sky
