From the
first time that they met
One by one
they came
They were
but strangers at the first
Although
they shared a name
They got
to know each other well
As day passed
into year
They had
their traits, different and same
They knew
that was quite clear
They shared
some songs, they shared some clothes
They shared
their fears and joys
They shred
some knowledge learned from books
They shared
their thoughts on boys
There would
be some advice to give
There'd
be some quibbles, too
But as they
grew they knew that to
Each other
they'd be true
As their
lives each took separate paths
They knew
this fact by heart
As sisters
and forever-friends
They'd never
really part
