The minutes seem like seconds
When time is on your side
A day full of activity
A job well done with pride
When days are full and bursting
With things to do and say
The time speeds by whether
you fill
Your time with work or play
Just sitting doing nothing
Not only is a waste
But seconds seem like hours
Time has the slowest pace
But whether spending time
with friends
Or working hard to strive
