World
Turning
A
single bud begins to bloom
And
starts a wave of flowers
The
birds all fly and sing their songs
Or
hide when there are showers
The
tiny seeds blow in the air
And
love is all around
The
breeze is delicate and light
And
barely makes a sound
The
sun beats hot upon the ground
The
sky is still and blue
The
grasses start to fade a bit
Not
quite as bright as new
The
warmer air and hiding breeze
Makes
everything seem slow
The
little showers hide and seek
To
help the flowers grow
The
wind picks up a little chill
To
frost the morning air
The
leaves burst into hues so bright
And
flutter everywhere
The
stocking time has come about
For
creatures large and small
They
fill their lairs with food to last
To
answer season's call
A
gentle blanket thick and white
Will
cover all around
It
wraps the earth in sleepiness
As
it falls on the ground
Everything
is still and cold
The
storms all blow away
The
sun will lie of blessed warmth
Until
snow melts away
A
single bud begins to bloom...
