Lady Liberty
Cried, Part II
Tho some did fight the evil
As heroes they had died
And as the proud twins met
their fall
The Lady Liberty cried
-----
And as she stood in deep
despair
Her sorrow hard to bear
She thought she heard a
tiny sound
Just carried through the
air
It started very small and
weak
Not more than just a sigh
It slowly started growing
as
The minutes hurried by
It was the sound of noble
songs
To God and to the land
Of love for country and
for those
Who stood there hand in
hand
Where darkness seemed to
reign and stand
A light was shining bright
As all the people everywhere
Began to set things right
She saw the acts of selflessness
That could not be denied
And this time with great
tears of joy
The Lady Liberty cried
